About the School
Rainworth State School is a co-educational primary school in Bardon, Queensland. Rainworth has been around since the 1900s and many of its students are now alumni. Rainworth offers a range of subjects to interested students, including arts, business, science and technology. Rainworth State School is a school that encourages students to be creative while at the same time being innovative. Rainworth has been named as one of Queensland’s most Outstanding Schools.
Rainworth State School offers a range of extra-curricular activities to students, including Rainworth’s Drama and Theatre program. In the Drama and Theatre program, students are introduced to a variety of different art forms: drawing, electronic imaging (photoshop), painting, printmaking, modeling/carving.
Rainworth also provides sporting opportunities for students with many teams competing against other schools during PE time or after-school programs like football/running/tennis etc.
